"WELCOME TO IAMRIOP.COM!"

Wow, it feels really good to say that! What a long journey this has been! Creating a fashion blog, outside of a video form, has been something that I’ve always wanted to do. Sharing my passions and interests with those that share the same is an invigorating feeling. Although I have shared on other platforms and in other ways, I embrace this new journey.

I began building upon this idea approximately a year and a 1/2 ago. In order to fully manifest this, I was faced with 2 choices; either pay someone to design/create, or ultimately do it myself. I chose the latter! Surprisingly, there were many things I had to learn. Concepts like web-hosts and domains were entirely foreign to me. Not to mention coding and design! But I was up to the task! I did tons of research to learn as much as I could. I encountered many setbacks and several design changes. I didn't have all the time I needed to solely focus on implementing the design process, but I remained patient and took my time. Working silently in the background, while your audience is unable to see exactly what you’re doing is not an easy thing to do. But I knew once I devoted all of my time and completed it, it would be a new beginning. So here I sit! Over a year later with a finally complete website.  Here I plan to share more of my style and life experiences.

THE BLOG
Fashion blogging has been something I’ve always wanted to give a shot. A lot of you would know that I consider fashion to be my first passion. I know that sounds a bit cliché and corny, LOL! The blogs will consist of 3 different categories; Fashion, Fitness & Lifestyle. My goal here is to share more of my fashion sense and other aspects of my life.

MY IG FEED
I don’t think too many of us are strangers to Instagram. I showcased my IG feed on the homepage for those that haven’t quite decided to use the platform, or for those that haven’t committed to following me. I wanted to provide inside for those individuals as to what type of imagery I share there. All of it is pretty self-explanatory, so there really isn’t much need to go further.

MY YOUTUBE CHANNEL
I’d imagine that the majority of you reading this will already me familiar with my YouTube connect. However, I know that some people may visit my website without knowing that I create videos.

MY STYLE PORTFOLIO
As my style evolves, I often catch myself wearing, or even buying for that matter, things that I would never look twice at. My style can be broken down into 3 categories; street, casual and dapper. And as my style evolves, I plan to share!

OUTFIT CONTESTS
Probably the feature that I hope a lot of you will be most excited about. I implemented this feature for a couple of reasons. 1) This allows for me to actually connect with my “fashion forward” viewers. 2) It provides an outlet for those viewers showcase and express their style. I haven't exactly figured out how often I will host the contest, but it is something I hope to do for a while. Shoutout to my homie, HB, for helping orchestrate this idea!
