"BALANCE"
Now, I know I’m not the only one that struggles with this! I would consider this to be my biggest opportunity for growth. Even as an adult, this is something I struggle with day after day. Living a full personal and professional life, with no organization or planning can easily lead to stress and anxiety. Unfortunately, those two things are no stranger to me. Some say expectation leads to disappointment. Whether they are placed upon you by other, or perhaps, placed on yourself.

(noun)
• the act or state of looking forward or anticipating.
The most common battle and struggle for most is simply: expection vs reality.
My biggest struggle is when MY expectations meet the reality that I never saw coming. A lack of expecting the unexpected, as cliche as that sounds! As I sit here writing this today, I am not someone that has mastered the complications of this battle. I’m merely a person that has slightly improved. And I stress the word, “SLIGHTLY”!
ORGANIZATION
Growing up, I've always considered myself to be a very organized person. Frankly, I still consider myself to be that "very organized person". However, my organization only goes so far. I'm great with my daily surroundings, i.e., bedroom, apartment, car, etc. I maintain cleanliness in those places because it helps me sustain a clear mindset. But, when it comes to my organizational life structure, there are some things could use work. I tend to find myself asking this one question; how to organize a busy life? Honestly, I'm still not extremely sure, but I can detail a few of the things I've been working to improve on. The first and most important thing is time managment. I'll dive a bit deeper into that in a bit, but developing a better perception of time is the key to proper life structure. The second thing is learning to write down your thoughts. Whether its a journal or a note app on your phone. Getting those thoughts down on something you can easily revert back to allows your mind to conveniently house other thoughts. A busy life without proper mental compartmentalization can easily lead to frustration and anxiety. That I know from first hand experience, unfortunately.
PLANNING/SCHEDULING
I've never really been the type of person to limit myself by living to a particular schedule. The optimism of freedom and the unknown throughout any particular day excites me. As I've mentioned before, expecting things to happen, can usually lead to disappointment.
"If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail." - Benjamin Franklin
Although planning has never really been my forté, I've always been keen on goal-setting. Setting goals is a type of planning, and it is important to note that you shouldn't be hard on yourself because something didn't go the way you expected. If your plans fall short of what you want, keep pushing forward until you see them through!
