THE DETAILS
Earlier this summer, a friend and I took a 5 hour road trip to Chicago, Illinois. During this “mini vacation”, we made a trip to visit the Louis Vuitton pop-up shop located at 1100 W. Randolph St. The shop was designed to coincide with Virgil Abloh’s “Figures of Speech” exhibition at The Museum of Contemporary Art. In celebration of the Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2019 Men’s collection, a few limited-edition items were displayed such as sneakers, clothing, accessories, and an art gallery.
The exterior of the building featured an unique monochromatic neon orange, faced with the iconic LV monogram. Inside there were two levels connected by a metal spiral staircase. On the lower level, you could see the lifestyle art gallery, displaying acrobatic positioned statues in themed color, wearing Louis Vuitton clothing and footwear. The retail shop was located on the upper level, where you could purchase exclusive orange colored items from the luxury brand.

2019 FALL/WINTER COLLECTION
I couldn’t afford anything, but I enjoyed the scenery! LOL. However, it was a cool shop to visit and take pictures. And that I did!
